About Me
Who I Am
I’m Vivienne, founder and floral designer of The Lady Gardener. My journey with flowers began during my own wedding preparations, when I was deeply moved by the way florals could carry emotion and create beauty. That moment planted a seed in me — to bring the same sense of joy to others through flowers.
My Background
Before floristry, I worked as an auditor, but soon realized my true calling was in design. I trained under Alicia Schwede of Flirty Fleurs, who has over 25 years of experience in floristry. From her, I not only learned techniques, but also how flowers can tell stories of love, season, and life.
To deepen my practice, I’ve also studied with internationally recognized designers such as Tashi and Bruce Zhao, whose poetic, garden-inspired philosophy continues to shape how I think about form, texture, and emotion in floral design.
My Philosophy
Today in Seattle, I design seasonal bouquets, potted arrangements, and event florals. My style is romantic, garden-inspired: natural, airy, and refined. Every piece I create is meant to feel alive — capturing movement, color, and texture in harmony.
What I Hope to Bring
My wish is that each arrangement carries the same tenderness that first drew me to flowers, and that it brings a touch of beauty and calm into your life’s most important moments.
